We haven't a moment to lose
 So grab all you can
And put on your shoes There's a club we should go to
 And friends we should meet
Only 5 pounds a person
 And all you can eat
So we haven't a moment to lose We haven't a moment to lose
 So hand me my slippers
Or an old pair of shoes There's bats in the belfry
 Of old grandpa Joe
So take care of him please
And get on with the show
'Cause we haven't a moment to lose We haven't the time to stand by
 And watch how them pigs
Make a mess of their sty See the clouds disappear
And the sun shine its light
But not at the moment
At the moment it's night
And we haven't the time to stand by We haven't the time to stand by
 And see how the children
Grow up and die We haven't a moment to lose

Lorraine 02:37
Wasted And wounded too God there's not much Else to do Without Lorraine Hey now Frizzle fry City sleeps And I made you cry Oh you, Lorraine When summer's here I'll send you into stratosphere We know There's not much time For loving suns And bells that chime For you, Lorraine She dims the lights The candle burns Fat white moon's what Really turns Her on, Lorraine When summer's here I'll send you into stratosphere No more Lorraine

You Lose 03:35
Well, you're chilling with the eggs and the bacon But it gets too hot in the frying pan When the last seats at the back are all taken You sit in front with teacher and you don't give a damn When the clubs you go to run out of pitchers Then the scarecrow shrieked and hence came alive And you can't seem to avoid all the ditches The pitch-black lake says, "Come take a dive..." Come on you legend Whenever you're present We always come second When you're in the line No one seems to bother As you're nobody's brother Back down, now back down! I think it's high time that You lose Why drown yourself in galleons of lager? Why smoke your weed and brag all time? You suck those babies down to the filter Don't realise you're back of the line Come on you legend Whenever you're present We always come second When you're in the line You ache like a blister And you're nobody's sister Back down, now back down! I think it's high time that You lose Don't send me cards with Easter and Christmas Buy me roses 'cause of Valentine's Day Call me legend or you'll lose - and it's like this: You're going to wish you'd have known me at the end of the day I'll be the eggs And you'll be the bacon Scrambled or fried You cry all the time No one seems to bother As you're nobody's brother Back down, now back down! I think it's high time that You lose

Cover your ears boys and girls Both your ears and your eyes You don’t know what is what You don’t know what is what You don’t know what is what Your ignorance covers your lies Cover your lies boys and girls Cover the big, little and white You know it isn’t right You know it isn’t sane You know it isn’t right What daddy does to you each night How come it happens to be so? Cover your dads boys and girls For fear of making it only worse It’s just a little secret That no one has to know It’s just your little secret Bite your lip try not to curse Cover your sins boys and girls You know it’s nearly time for bed He’s feeling hot today He’s feeling hot tonight He’s feeling hot today Sometimes you wish that you were dead How come it happens to be so? How come it happens to be so? I just wanted to know Wanted to know Holler away boys and girls Scream out your tonsils and your lungs Tell mommy what he did Tell mommy what he did Tell mommy what he did Tell her what daddy did last night How come it happens to be so?

I’ve got a little secret That I’m not allowed to tell If I tell it to the world I will die and go to hell Mommy says, mommy says She says I am to weak There’s a problem in my head That’s why they call me a freak No one knows There’s food inside my mouth today A light bulb in the sky I can’t find my milk nowhere My mouth is awfully dry Daddy’s here, daddy’s here To make them go away Little voices in my head That might make me go astray No one knows The door that I can’t see nor reach Is locked from the other side Sometimes I hear the voices Telling me to run and hide Daddy’s here, daddy’s here To make them go away Little voices in my head That might make me go astray No one knows Daddy’s here, daddy’s here . . . Time is ticking away But there’s no clock upon the wall I can’t reach the window For I’m six inches too small The Reaper’s here, Grim Reaper’s here The voices try to say But it’s only my daddy To make them go away Daddy’s here, daddy’s here To make them go away Little voices in my head That might make me go astray

They Know 03:34
They know of great many places Where grumpy old men Drink away all their sorrows As fast as they can All the women are worthless Because their glamour has left Men are guilty of one thing World’s biggest theft They told the story of Bluebeard Who was one of those blokes Who spent all the nights Selling dirty old jokes Stole the hearts and the lives Of so many a young lass’ Heartless was he And the wives he posessed Stole the hearts of the women And left them to die All the men are guilty Of making them cry I know of a place Where women they lie Serve bastards their drinks Which will cause them to die Though they rent out their bodies Their hearts remain pure The men like to think different But they don’t know for sure

Sick 03:20
I got a little sick Got a little sick of this Trees falling on my head Falling on my head I’d rather be I don’t have the time to talk I don’t have the time for a walk Pigs standing in their sty Staring at the sky I’d rather die Cows giving all their milk Get a little sick of this I don’t have the time to talk I don’t have the time for a walk Run little boy Run little girl Run for your lives I got a little bored Ran a little short of this Love, make a little love Make a little peace for me We don’t have the time to talk We don’t have the time for a walk I had a little friend Got a little sick of this He died falling down the stairs Nobody who cares about this We didn’t have the time to talk We didn’t have the time for a walk Run little boy Run little girl Run for your lives I got a little sick Got a little sick of this

We’re not making money But we’re trying our best The monkey’s on fire If you want to learn it Got to learn from the best The monkey’s on fire Not everything’s lost But very little has been gained The monkey’s on fire I was on a lunch break So I cannot be blamed The monkey’s on fire We’re losing our patience Can you tell when this will end The monkey’s on fire You know there’s just one answer And you know it just depends on when The monkey’s on fire

Dig Me Up 02:47
Hear me call your name I think I called your name I've called it once too many do you think it's a game? Are we playing hide and seek It is taking you weeks It's cold and it's dark and I am getting too weak The dead whisper in my ear Won't you dig me up! Can't seem to open the door Can't seem to stand on this floor The walls are closing in and I can't take it no more It's awfully quiet in here So damn quiet in here It smells of dying people please help me dear The dead whisper in my ear Won't you dig me up! I am resting my bones That's right I'll rest my bones I'll close my eyes pretend that I'm not alone That's right I'll rest my bones I am just resting my bones Click my heels say," There's no place like home" The dead whisper in my ear Won't you dig me up!

Heard you were coming to see me You're the one who deals the cards I just want to tell you I know nothing but some shards The future isn't in my hands I'm old and I am grey I don't have the knowledge Why don't you go away Take my kitty cat instead 'cause I don't want to be dead Heard them say you drive a Chevy Heard them say it's hot like hell I've got nothing here but rubbles And some stories I could tell The future isn't in my hand I'm poor and I am bold I don't want to die yet I haven't struck gold Take my kitty cat instead 'cause I don't want to be dead Two years ago I lost my wife She said I was somewhat of a bore I think she fell up on my knife Twenty times or maybe more Disagreed with my beliefs Felt I was selling her short I wanted to stay down in the south She wanted to move up to the north Take my kitty cat instead 'cause I don't want to be Saw the last wink of the cat I saw her smiling with delight As we drove into the hills Towards the darkness of the night I left all that I owned I think most of it was sold I had dug in the wrong direction And I never found no gold Take my kitty cat instead 'cause I don't want to be dead

So you're busy selling resolutions They're on discount It's nearly New Years' Eve If they're not sold out by tomorrow morning You still have one ace up your sleeve For tonight there'll be a change of weather Tonight there'll be a cheering mob Who'll be laughing and celebrating This would mean they're doing a heck of a job At the Orchestra Of Love So you're busy selling good intentions They come in pairs Do I get one for free If you are looking for a bloody saviour You're barking up the wrong bloody tree We'll be laughing at those good intentions We'll be laughing at the economy For tonight we'll be celebrating Listening to a love symphony At the Orchestra Of Love They were right about one thing You can't beat the feeling of love So I see you're busy buying tickets Glad to see you've changed your mind Tonight we'll be celebrating It doesn't really matter if you're deaf or blind At the Orchestra Of Love

No Encores 02:47
Goodbye so long we have to go You lot, and thanks for all the fish There’s a clock upon the wall That tells us just what time it is Well it’s been fun we've had a blast And though we’d really like to stay You know this show won’t ever last No, no encores - it’s not our way Ladies Gentlemen Boys and girls Goodbye so long we have to go You lot, and thanks for being ‘round Goodbye so long and cheerio We hope you liked the Mucho sound Well see you later cats and don’t Forget to wave if we should meet Out in the streets and if you won’t At least dance to this Maestro beat Ladies Gentlemen Boys and girls Don’t go telling All the world How we did tonight Goodbye so long we have to leave You lot, and thanks for stopping by And don’t you dare to sigh nor heave My God, won’t mommy ask you why You came in late the other night Would she think you lost along the way Your sense of taste and purity Would you tell her How we did tonight?

about

Dear boys and girls,

A-hum . . . please allow me to tell you my tale. You see, I’ve lived a very dramatic life, committed some deadly crimes, loved and hated many and in the end resided in the universal. I think you should hear my story so that you won’t make the same bad decisions. Listen and learn, junior.

It all started back in the roaring nineteen-twenties when I decided to desert my beloved city of Lorraine to walk in my father’s footsteps. I felt free at last but the nightmares stayed and kept torturing my brain. Nightmares of murders, people I had hurt and folk that had hurt me more than I’d like to take for granted. Naturally, I ran out of money somewhere along the way too - you know as they would say: the monkey was on fire.

One night, when I suddenly stood face to face with the devil who had come to collect my soul, I realised that I had dug in the wrong direction all along. Fortunately after my pleading, he decided to take my kitty cat instead of me and it was only then that I realised there had got to be another way.

That same night, I went to see the Orchestra’ play at the arena and it’s never been the same after that. The bloke at the cash register probably never did realize that . . . he wasn’t just selling tickets, he was Selling Resolutions!

Mucho Maestro, three of the finest young men, are going to sing you a dozen tell-tales of the sing-song kind in which they will narrate my complete epos.

Yours,

M.J.G. Maginot
